As a child, Sofia struggled with cystic acne leading her to take an interest in treating her own skin. As she worked to progress her skincare journey, she began to feed the idea of providing the knowledge she has to others who are on a similar path.

She became a licensed esthetician in 2019 after graduating from the International School of Beauty. She then went on to work at a day spa in Indian Wells for three years. It is there that she was inspired to run a spa of her own that fosters a positive and welcoming environment for her staff and her clientele.

S.E. SKIN opened in October of 2022 and since then, Sofia and her team of licensed estheticians has worked to change the lives of many, ranging from young teens beginning their journey to older adults maintaining the foundations they have already established.
